Ana Houtman MS, LMFT
With over 18 years of experience in mental and behavioral health, I bring a grounded, sophisticated, and deeply personalized approach to healing. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and experienced clinical consultant, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate complex emotional landscapes and rediscover their path toward wellness. I earned my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from New Mexico State University and am honored to be an alumna of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy Minority Fellowship Program, an experience that shaped my commitment to clinical excellence and culturally attuned care.
I believe therapy is more than resolving symptoms; it is an intentional space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that deserve compassion and clarity. Healing begins with mindful awareness; learning to notice our thoughts, emotions, and patterns without judgment. From this place of presence, sustainable transformation becomes possible. My work integrates trauma-informed care, family systems theory, and behavioral interventions, all grounded in a mindfulness-based perspective that helps clients cultivate balance, purpose, and a deeper sense of self. Whether in therapy or consultation, my aim is to provide a warm, elevated, and restorative experience that supports meaningful and lasting change.
